WORDS OF WISDOM
FOR

Walking In Love!

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear; because fear hath torment.  He that feareth is not made perfect in love.I John 4:18

The cure for fear is love.  First John boldly states that "perfect love casteth out fear."  And, if you are a Christian, the Holy Spirit has put perfect love into your heart: "because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us" (Romans 5:5).

Beloved, God is love (I John 4:8).  God's love is perfect love (I Corinthians 13:4-8).  When you have God's love in your heart you have perfect love that is able to withstand any attack of fear.  God's love will also flush fear out of every area of your life that has been contaminated by it.

Fear is deadly.  If it is left uncontrolled, fear will spread and contaminate every area of your life.  Fear is as deadly as a rattlesnake's poisonous venom .  Why?  Because fear is the opposite of faith.  Faith pleases God and without faith it is impossible to please Him (Hebrews 11:6).  On the flip side, without fear, it is impossible to please Satan.  This is a law of reciprocals (opposites).

There are two spiritual laws at work in the world: the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus and the law of sin and death.  The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2).  To operate in the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, you must operate by faith; and, when you operate in fear, you activate the law of sin and death

Beloved, fear is a spiritual force, just like faith is a spiritual force.  Fear activates Satan the way faith activates God.   Fear is totally destructive.  Fear is a satanic force that works against you at every opportunity.  Faith is a creative force that God uses to build and uplift.  Faith helps but fear hurts.  Whenever faith is in operation, you will always benefit from it.  Whenever fear is in operation, you will be subject to bondage and torment.  Fear is the connector to Satan as faith is the connector to God.  Yes, beloved, fear is what connects you to Satan and all the curses that are under the law of sin and death (Deuteronomy 28:15-68).  Faith is what connects you to God and all the blessings of the blood covenant.  Beloved, both faith and fear will produce results.  You are the one who decides what results you will have by walking in either faith or fear.

Beloved, by and through faith you appropriate all the precious promises of God.  But when fear is released and set in motion, it will bring forth all that Satan desires to give you: pain, sorrow, death and destruction in every area of your life: As it is written, "The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy" (John 10:10a, The Amplified Bible).

Throughout the Word of God we are exhorted to "fear not."  Why?  Because the thing you fear, will eventually come upon you.  Look at it like this.  Fear is like a magnet and the things you  fear are like metal objects that will draw  you towards the things you fear just like a magnet will attract and clings to metal.  This is confirmed in the Bible.  All the tragedy, heartache and sorrow that came upon Job were a result of his fear.  Job 3:25 boldly confirm this, "For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me."

Beloved, fear is a spirit (2 Timothy 1:7) and must be aggressively resisted and withstood.  Yes, fear is a spirit that comes from Satan; and we are told to resist the devil and he will flee (James 4:7).

The most powerful force against the spirit of fear, which is guaranteed to withstand and overcome it, is the force of love.  Why?  Because God is love (I John 4:8).

Perfect love will cast out fear. God's perfect love is in your heart.  He has put His' love there Himself (Romans 5:5).  But if you allow His love to lie dormant in your life and don't put it into action, it will not do you any good.  Love like faith is a spiritual force and unless it is released it won't do you any good.

The force of faith and the force of love were both given to us by God the moment we invited Jesus into our hearts.  Romans 12:3 declares,  "God hath dealth to every man the measure of faith," and Romans 5:5 confirm "the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."  Both faith and love are spiritual forces given to us by God, and the only way these spiritual forces work is when released.

Faith and love are like muscles, they become stronger and more developed when used, when you exercise them.  Further, faith and love have the ability to increase and get stronger when exposed to God's Word.  Faith comes by hearing and continuing to hear God's Word; and, faith to walk in love and live a life of love comes also by hearing God's Word on the subject of love (Romans 10:17).

Beloved, fear is the opposite of love and the root of fear is hate.  Satan is full of hate and is hate.  The opposite of hate is love; and, God is full of love (Ephesians 3:19) and is love (I John 4:8).  John 1:1 declare that God is the Word; so, if God is love and God is also the Word, to increase in love, you must increase in the Word on love.  Do you see it?

Joshua 1:8 exhorts us to confess God's Word continuously, to meditate upon it day and night, and then to do what it says; and, by so doing we will deal wisely in all the affairs of life.

Beloved, I exhort you to daily meditate and audibly confess the following scriptures which will build your faith; for faith comes by hearing God's Word (Romans 10:17).  And on every opportunity, put your faith to work by walking in love because faith without corresponding actions (works) is dead (James 2:20).  Release the love of God, which is in your heart, on every occasion and at every opportunity.  Resist hate and anything that is the opposite of love.  Remember, perfect love will cast out fear.  Resist fear and submit to love.  Love will always overpower and flush out fear.  Guaranteed!  Remember, God is love (I  John 4:8) and everyone that loves is born of God, and knows God (I John 4:7).  He that loves not, does not know God because God is love (I John 4:8).

  SCRIPTURES TO
STRENGTHEN YOUR FAITH FOR
Walking In Love!

2 Timothy 1:7

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Romans 5:5

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost, which is given unto us.

James 4:7

Submit yourselves therefore to God.  Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Romans 8:2

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Hebrews 2:14-15

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Romans 8:15

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Psalm 118:6

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear; what can man do unto me?

Isaiah 40:10

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Isaiah 43:1-2

Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.  When thou passeth through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Psalm 23:4

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

I John 3:22-24

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.  And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of the Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

I John 4:7-8

Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

I John 4:18, 20-21

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear; because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.  If a man say, I love God and hateth his brother, he is a liar; for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?  And this commandment have ye from him, that he who loveth God love his brother also.

John 13:34-35

A new commandment I give unto you.  That ye love one another as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples if ye have love one to another.

John 15: 12-14 (The Amplified Bible)

This is My commandment, that you love one another [just] as I have loved you.  No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affection] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends.  You are My friends if you keep on doing the things which I command you to do.

I Corinthians 13:4-8 (The Amplified Bible)

Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.  It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly.  Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].  It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.  Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].  Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]

Song of Solomon 8:7  (The Amplified Bible)

Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it.  If a man would offer all the goods of his house for love, he would be utterly scorned and despised.

Galatians 5:22-26

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith.  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.  And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  Let us not be desirous of vainglory, provoking one another, envying one another.

I John 5:18

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

Psalm 3:5-6

I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.  I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people that have set themselves against me round about.

II Kings 6:16

Fear not; for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

Psalm 4:8

I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.

Psalm 91:5-7

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.  A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

Proverbs 10:12

Hatred stirreth up strifes; but love covereth all sins.

2 Corinthians 5:14

For the love of Christ constraineth us

I John 5:3-4

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments; and his commandments are not grievous.  For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world and this is the victory that overcometh the world even our faith.

Romans 13:8-10

Owe no man any thing but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. . .and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.  Love worketh no ill to his neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

I John 4:19

We love him, because he first loved us.

I Peter 1:8-9

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Ephesians 3:14-21

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named.  That he would grant you according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith that ye, being rooted and grounded in love.  May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.  Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us.  Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.  Amen.
