Words Of Wisdom For

Wealth, Riches & Financial Prosperity!

Praise ye the Lord.  Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord,
that delighteth greatly in his commandments.  His seed shall
be mighty upon earth; the generation of the upright
shall be blessed.  Wealth and riches shall be in
his house; and his righteousness endureth
 for ever. Psalm 112:1-3.

        P
overty is a curse.  I know that is strong language; but, if you were dying of cancer would you want me to tell you that sickness was a blessing?  Absolutely not!  Beloved, poverty is as much a curse as sickness and disease is (Deuteronomy 28:15-68); and, Christ has redeemed us from the curse (Galatians 3:13).

Our blood covenant is a covenant of peace and completeness (Isaiah 54:10, Amplified); and, peace, which comes from the Hebrew root word "shalem," implies to be whole, having nothing missing or broken.  To be complete.  True Bible peace implies to be whole in every area of your life: spirit, soul and body.

Let me ask you a question.  If you were the richest man in the world but was confined to a wheelchair, would you be whole and complete?  Absolutely not!  Let me ask you another question.  If you were the healthiest human alive but was homeless, broke and poverty-stricken, would you be whole and complete?  Absolutely not!  Do you get the point?

Beloved, Jesus shed his precious blood to not only deliver you from the power of sin, but to deliver you from the curse of poverty and lack.  He came that you might be whole and complete in every area of your life, spirit, soul and body.  He came that you might enjoy a complete, full and abundant life while living here upon this earth.  "I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)," (John 10:10, Amplified).

Beloved, God has established the law of prosperity for the purpose of prospering His covenant people.  Within the law of prosperity is God's key to financial freedom, prosperity, wealth and riches.  Genesis 8:22 declare that "while the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."

God has established and set in motion the greatest financial investment plan in history, the law of prosperity, which includes seedtime and harvest, sowing and reaping, tithes and offerings.  But, just like any financial investment plan, there are conditions you must adhere to in order to increase.

You cannot keep your savings hidden in a tin can in the back yard and expect it to earn interest.  If you want your money to earn interest and grow, you must put it in a savings account or invest it.  Just like any law, there are regulations which govern that law.  God's Word contains the regulations (conditions) that govern the law of prosperity.

God did not establish the law of prosperity for His sake but for ours.  Giving of tithes and offerings is God's established law for increasing you and I.  If we want to increase, we must adhere to the conditions He has established.  He will not work for us outside of the spiritual laws He has established but obedience to the Word of God will always bring blessings.  Guaranteed!  You sow nothing, you reap nothing.  You sow, you have a harvest of return coming.

God abundantly prospered Abraham because Abraham adhered to God's established law of prosperity.  God told Abraham in Genesis 12:2, "And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing."  Two chapters later, it is recorded that Abraham gave the tithe, 10%, of all he took possession of to God (Genesis 14:20, Hebrews 7:2).  The word "tithe" is from the Hebrew word "masser" which means tenth, thus implying ten percent of something.

Abraham adhered to the law of prosperity but it didn't stop there.  Tithing and giving of offerings was something that Abraham and all of the children of Israel adhered to and practiced consistently (Leviticus 27:30-34, Deuteronomy 12:6-7, II Chronicles 31:11-12, Nehemiah 10:37-38, Malachi 3:10, Luke 18:12, and Hebrews 7:1-9).

Beloved, undoubtedly, Abraham understood the importance of adhering to the law of prosperity, seedtime and harvest, sowing and reaping, giving of tithes and offerings.  Just like any wise man, Abraham knew that he could not expect a harvest of increase by holding onto what God had first given unto him without sowing it, reinvesting it.  The Bible instructs us to give to God the first portion of all of our increase (Deuteronomy 26:2, Proverbs 3:9-10).

Successful financial investors understand this principle quite clearly.  They know that they cannot "eat up" (spend) the entirety of the return on their investment.  By eating up their entire return (their harvest), they understand they can not expect more to keep coming in.  No, they understand that they must immediately reinvest, first, a percentage of their increase so that they will always have some "money working" for them.  Some seed in the ground.

Beloved, this is a biblical principle that even the unbeliever understands.  You must keep sowing some financial seed, every time God prospers you with a financial harvest, if you want to keep your seed growing and producing for you.  Remember, seedtime and harvest shall not cease (Genesis 8:22).

Additionally, after you have sown your seed, you must watch over it to ensure that your harvest of return is not stolen.  Every wise investor keeps track of the status of his investment to ensure that he is not cheated out of it in any way.  This is an area the majority of Christians miss it.  They do not continue to stand in faith and believe God for the return, unhindered, on the financial seed sown; and the devil keeps on stealing them blind.

Beloved, a powerful way to watch over your financial seed is to water it with the Word of God.  Speak God's Word over your seed sown and place a demand on God's Word for your harvest of return.  We have compiled some scriptures below to help you water your financial seed, and to help build your faith and thus position you to walk in the fullness of your covenant which includes wealth, riches and prosperity.  As Joshua 1:8-9 declares, I exhort you to daily confess, meditate and obey God's Word; for, then you shall make your way to prosper and you will have good success.

Remember beloved, for there to be a harvest, there must be a seed.  No seed, no harvest!  "For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap," (Galatians 6:7, Amplified).   Stay encouraged and remember, God does not bless us according to what we deserve but by what we put into practice, what we obey.  God promises that a doer of the Word is blessed is all his deeds (James 1:25).  For additional teaching on the laws of prosperity and God's covenant of wealth, riches and financial prosperity, GO TO STUDY LIBRARY.
